Confidence Building

Feeling unsure of ourselves is hard; we worry about what others think of us, doubt our abilities, or mentally criticize ourselves.  It’s stressful and no fun at all.  Often, other people can tell and seem to think “if he doesn’t have confidence in himself then I shouldn’t have confidence in him either” and that can harm us at work, at school, in dating, and in friendships.  But you can learn to improve what could use improving and truly love all the things that are wonderful about you!  Our counsellors can help you see all your greatness that you have been overlooking and help you learn to not only act but feel more confident and assertive so that other people will be able to see it too.  The happy, confident you will be more fun to be around and seem more genuine, so others will like, respect, and trust you more, allowing for better relationships with friends, co-workers, superiors, and romantic partners.
