We have a new member on the Team!

Aisha is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with an M.A. in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. Aisha completed an internship at  Marianopolis college, a post-secondary school establishment in Montreal. She held the position as a school counsellor at Kuper Academy in the West Island of Montreal where the students ranged from day care to grade 11. In these school based positions Aisha supported students through a variety of on going mental health related issues and through instances of crisis. She has also counselled the survivors of sexual assault, as well as their friends and family.

Aisha’s empathetic nature and calm attitude make her an effective and accessible counsellor. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is a unique opportunity which allows people to connect with their own strength, values and goals. Aisha has had training in CBT and play therapy.

In addition, she is able to counsel in both English and French.

Aisha grew up in Ontario, Canada and has spent time living abroad while teaching English in South Korea and Mexico. Aisha enjoys reading fiction, biking, dancing, music and spending time with friends and family.

Specialization: Depression, Anxiety, Sexual Assault, Body Image Concerns, Psycho-educational Assessments and Self esteem.

Aisha works in both our NW & SW offices and is accepting new clients.
