Why Choose Supervised Counselling?

Working with a practicum student can be a meaningful and rewarding experience. Clients benefit from:

  • Reduced Fees

Counselling sessions with practicum interns are offered at a lower rate of $110/hour (individual, couple, and family). This makes therapy more accessible for individuals and families who may be on a limited budget.

  • High-Quality Care

Our practicum interns are carefully selected and closely supervised by experienced Registered Psychologists. You can feel confident that you’ll receive competent and compassionate care throughout your sessions.

  • Fresh Perspectives

Emerging therapists bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and innovative approaches to the counselling process. Their dedication to learning can enrich the therapeutic experience and lead to positive outcomes.

Please Note: Supervised practicum sessions are not usually eligible for direct billing or reimbursement by most Extended Health Care Benefit Plans. After payment, you will receive a receipt that includes the practicum counsellor’s and supervisor’s details. Please check with your provider if you are uncertain about coverage.
